we cant go to mcgillivary, it's full. so pick another lake, we do mcgillivary another time this summer....
corey and i are good for any lake. so throw some out there. you mentioned dennis lake-dave all the lakes around there have no trees from the fire. it's kinda eerily scary. we came around the corner where there was trees, and then there was kinda like a rock slide and no trees. just burned stumps. it was sad, and creepy.
so what about back to little blue?
its just one suggestion
where else do you think?

I'm a here!  Looks like you guys had a nice day up at the lake. I would be down to going there sometime but I dont think Canada day weekend would be too good for me. I think something more neutral for everyone would be better as it does cost me about $180 in fuel plus toll round trip up to Kamloops. Tim also agrees that somewhere in the Merritt area would be better for us guys that are 3 hours away. I was thinkin Gwen, or Shea, or a lake in the kane valley would be a nice mid mark for everyone to meet. I also have a couple that will be coming up with us, Jourdy and Denise. I work with Jourdy and they really want to go camping with us so I said for sure. Let me know what you guys want to do. |

We are gonna leave on Thursday afternoon to secure a spot at whatever lake we decide on. Seeing as it is Canada day weekend we figured we better leave early to get a good spot.

well davie boy, like i said, corey and i are cheap and easy!! he he you guys pick a lake, and we'll meet you there or meet you some where so we can get to the lake together. ;D you pick we will be there. but you have to promise to come to hiaquawa.  you'll love it there mathew has his fishing rod all ready to go, he just needs to get some flies. time to get the bunch of us together and R & R get to know each other a bit better. tip a few back for the cowboy |

Yeah sometime in the future for sure I would be down to head up to haiaquawa, but I actually just got word from Timmeh that his rig is down and he cant make it up unless we head up to the Kelowna area pick him up and camp out there somewhere. He also mentioned that he might be able to borrow his mom's truck but he is gonna get back to me on that. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I'll know more tonight. |

what is wrong with his truck? if it is just something simple....then it is something maybe we can do this weekend, erin has to be there on thursday for an mri..........

the boyz are going to help timmy out tomorrow.  i even bought him a berring to help him out but corey said it is the wrong one. so they can exchange it tomorrow in kelowna. he will be up and running tomorrow night. but if he still wants to camp around there.... that is fine, like we said pick a lake. ;D |

every thing is peechy, i called to see what was up with timmy's truck. so we just called tim yesterday, and the guys are there now. they just about had it done up at 3pm when mathew called his dad after school. i talked to tim and he was a happy camper. i told him to call us before he takes it in to the shop, cause corey and erin can probably fix it cheaper with the cost of gas getting down there than him getting it fixed somewhere there. if that makes any sense.
corey gave him the GODFATHER speech.
so the boyz should be on their way back, they should be pulling in here any time now.
so ............. any idea where we will be camping yet?

Dont matter to me, I'm just hoping somewhere where it will be just us. I have this thing about camping and having a million other people that I dont know camping all around me. I just like to be alone. What about Plateau Lake or back to Blue. Plateau is up near Blue and its a pretty nice lake that I dont think many people would be heading to next weekend. |

Ok well lets plan for Plateau Lake seeing as we havent been there yet, and if its busy we can always rip down to Blue. We will be heading up there around 5 on thursday if anyone wants to meet up with us. Gonna bring up the Quad and the boat and the BBQ. Should be a great weekend. |

awesome.....we will surely talk to you before we go. mathew is so excited. anyone get any fireworks?? i gonna try to find some. and i'm gonna buy mathew a flag he can tie up at our site-seeing its canada day.
we'll try to get up there thursday after mathew's appointmant. i will have the truck packed on wednesday so we are ready to go. this time i will be organized and have everything ready. i'll start this weekend. ;D

Just got some news early this evening that a friend of mine that I only see once a year is making his annual trip to Kamloops for the long weekend. His Dad has a small piece of property on the lakeside of Badger lake and he will be spending it up there with his folks. So in talking with him I will be heading up that way to camp at a nice little lake called spooney lake that is only about a Km from where he is staying. Dana, Jourdy, Denise and I will be heading up that way on Thursday putting us up there around 9pm. Tim, and Jeanette will be joining us on Friday afternoon. Tim was saying that you guys were still thinking of heading up to that lake you found and if so by all means go right ahead I will not be offended . BUT! If you are wanting to come and join us still I would like that very much My apologies for all the changes for the upcoming weekend its just that my buddy (kory) is a long time friend and we dont get to see each other much. Also him and his wife have two little ones that might be there. I am still bringing the boat, bbq, paint ball guns, booze, fishing gear, and quad so I dont think there be a shortage in things for everyone to do. Sure hope everyone is up for spooney, but like I said if you guys already planned on heading up to that lake in Jameson thats cool with me ;D ;D |
