well it's 39 degrees at our airport, right at the river. so that will make it about 2 degrees hotter down town. it is 41 degrees in our back yard right now. corey just called it quits on painting on the football sleds that he and a buddy are making. they just have the lettering to do tomorrow. it is fricken hot outside even the dogs don't wanna be outside, so i have been keeping them in the airconditioning. spoiled dogs or what.....

it was 28* when i got up this morning. needless to say we didn't do much today either. i bbq'ed hamburgers for supper and that was all i could stand. the dogs wouldn't even stay out with me. ---i don't blame Kate being black--she spent the day on the couch with me, the lazy hound dog. those of you guys that don't have air conditioning, i feel for you. our house was like a sauna before we put the heat pump in. ~hey~ i say air conditioners at costco for 169.00.~ it's a thought.

Thats actually not a bad price. I can tell you this much though I won't be going through another summer without AC. Gonna get central air installed next year for sure.

look into a heat pump, not air conditioning. it saves you in the long run, especially down on the coast, your gas bill would virtually be eliminated. check this site out it tells you all about them. www.bchydro.com/powersmart/elibrary/elibrary687.htmlthey are a bit pricey but what is the price of both furnace and air conditioning together? this does both in one. something to think about. and you know how cool my house is...some times i have to get a blanket to watch tv. and the heat is the same as having the furnace on, until about -7, then we turn it to the furnace. check it out and let me know what you think....

yeah no kiddin... Not much new here, bought a new trac bar for the Ram on ebay. Picked it up for $75 Canadian brand new! Pretty lucky I thought. Also put the order in for a new detroit for the rear of the Ramcharger. ;D In a couple more weeks I should have enough coin for the front. As for the axle shafts I have the option of pulling them out of the green machine or I might have a lead on a set from a guy on RCC. Well see what happens. So I should have all the parts I need soon to put the slut back together. You guys up for some tinkering on the slut near the end of August. As for the tires I am hoping someone will buy them. I think when they do sell I might be flipping over to boggers now that the RC is a trailer queen. ;D ;D Oh ya and I'm looking forward to camping this weekend... Still not sure if Tim is gonna bless us with his presence. I'll call him tomorrow.

K well I talked to Tim and as of right now its a 50 50 with him. He was able to get the weekend off but he doesnt have enough $ to get him from Kamloops to home. I told him no problem that I would front him the cash. But Tim is quite a proud kinda guy and doesnt want to come off as a mooch. We've been best friends for over 12 years and I told him it wouldnt be the smae without him. I am pretty sure he is coming. ;D I will know a little later on he just has to discuss it with the wife. I'm glad Corey is looking forward to tinkering with my dirty ram, I'll bring some grease.........

Well basically what it does is it locates the front axle under the truck and limits it's side to side motion (Prevents sloppy steering). I just put it in and man can you feel a difference in the steering. I was reading up on this poor design Dodge came up with and found that typically a stock track bar on a stock 1500 or 2500 can get around 20-80000 kms good use out of it depending on the type of abuse the vehicle is put through. I also found that the life span can also be cut in half on lifted vehicles with over sized tires. The good thing though is a company called DT Pro Fab designs a stonger bar that is straight in design apposed to the weaker bent stock bar. They also boast that it is rebuildable and the rebuild kit is only $40 bucks. Only problem is the Straight bar runs about $300 bucks. A pretty cool design though ;D
On another note I just ordered my other locker today so I should see both in a couple weeks. Cant wait to get those babies in!
