Every once in a while our truck makes a thunk when we hit a bump. So after me asking him about 100 times to explain it to me, I have decided to post it. Corey says what it is, is the shackle is about 1/4 inch away from a rivet so when we hit a bump, it hits the rivet and thumps. He wants to grind off the rivet, counter sink it, and weld it flush with the frame.

That sounds about right, my old Warlock used to do the same thing. Drove me nuts. I don't see why he couldn't fix it that way.
