This run Is mostly good 2wd access. When you get to the actual Lake trail things change. there is a couple of steep climbs and descents (one has a bend in it too) it is tight (not Dave's infamous Bob lake tight, but close in a couple of spots) there is some very swampy spots to cross, A few shelves 8"-12", and obstacles ranging from 8"-18" (stumps, rocks, Etc...). The trail could be very tricky in a couple of spots during, or right after a good rain. We made it in with no body damage, but it could happen to an inexperienced driver in the wetter conditions. This Part of the trail is a 7+ on our rating scale. ( could be easier or alot harder depending on the weather). Good tires are a must! I wouldn't recommend going down the trail alone unless you are very prepared: Spare tire, jack/hi lift, Winch or come along with extra chain or straps etc.... It would be hard in wet conditions without 33"+ tires and a lift, I doubt you could cross the ditch to get to the trail head without a 4"+ lift and 33's No wonder no one goes there and the fishing looks so good! ;D Link to Trail rating definitions: mopariron4x4.proboards67.com/index.cgi?board=wwheelingareas&action=display&thread=1130951574
