OK here we go: 1. remove front drive shaft (Duh!) 2. remove the U-joint end cap retainers: 3. Use a punch or chisel to hit the "cross" of the U-joint to knock a cap out, then flip it over and knock out the opposite side to remove one yoke side: Here's a pic of the drive shaft off of the CV and one of the back caps ready to come out: Just use some pliers to get it out: The locator ball is a pain to get out, We had to tack a bolt to it to use to remove it: Sorry but we had camera issues and didn't get any pics of it After the locator ball is out clean out the socket and the receiver in the "H" yoke ( you'll see it) then grease them up and drive in the new locator like a seal with a socket of the right diameter. Assembly is the reverse of removal. The hardest part is getting the last cap lined up with the cross while keeping the locator engaged: When you are all done it should look like this and be very smooth when rotated: If it is tight in spots you have to give the yokes a smack to seat the end caps out against the retainer clips more to loosen it up ;D
